The Torys and the Whigs
Were once the choice we had
Firstly of the privileged few
Then the happy and the sad
Then along came Labour
The voice of working man
So Labour and the Tories then
Fought to rule our land
And for many years the two of them
Swapped power in the pews
One right one left but generally
Representative views
And those who sought idealism
Found themselves out in the cold
Cos we didn’t want extremism
We wanted middle of the road
But in came infiltration
Under cover of the night
Masquerading as one nation
A Tory parasite
Spreading disillusionment
With their idealistic sprawl
Exploiting those more vulnerable
And dividing them to rule
