The Real Strength of an Argument

An opinion slung over one shoulder

So heavy it’s hard to advance

You grimace and strain to maintain it

Displaying the strength of your stance

But enlightenment comes

When you pick up the counter

Discharging that burden of pride

Straightening your spine

Spreading that load

So you’re upright not bent to one side
